Cherry Pie

Ingredients

2 poundsCherries, pitted
1 1/8 cupsSugar
1 tablespoonButter
1/4 teaspoonAlmond extract
3 1/2 tablespoonsCornstarch

Directions

  1.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
  2.  Mix cherries, sugar, and cornstarch together. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  4.  Remove from heat then add butter and almond extract.
  5.  Bake in a pie crust for 75 minutes.
